Our Safe and Inclusive School Plan is promoting inclusion, acceptance, and self-advocacy. When students use their own voice or actions to work out problems, their confidence and communication skills increase. Here is the format we are encouraging students to use when misunderstandings first arise. Of course, some issues will need an adult to help students resolve the issue, but the more students can advocate for themselves and others constructively, the more self-sufficient they become. We encourage parents to reinforce this format at home when possible.
